Interested in teaching American history, American government, or social studies at the secondary school level? Consider the James Madison Fellowship Program, which funds both current teachers and college students interested in teaching. Fellows receive $24,000 for pursuing graduate education to assist with their teaching.

In addition to the financial assistance for a master's degree program, Fellows have the unique opportunity to attend a summer institute to strengthen their knowledge of the origins and development of American constitutional government.
