New Sociology PhD Program @ UMass Boston

The University of Massachusetts Boston has a new PhD Program in Sociology. Students must submit an application before January 31, 2015. Assistantship support is available to a large majority of students who are accepted. Admission requirements can be reviewed and applications submitted at http://www.umb.edu/admissions/grad/apply.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to develop academic and applied careers in a dynamic, growing department with a highly productive faculty. The PhD Program has special concentrations in communities and crime, health and mental health and health care services, and immigration and globalization, with special opportunities for collaboration with researchers at the UMass Medical School, at the Harvard Medical School, and in Germany.
